pescar - to pay attention to someone. (the normal meaning is "to fish")
no pescar - to ignore someone -- this expression is mostly used in the negative:
No me pesca. He doesn't pay attention to me. He ignores me.

Vero: Ese weón me tiene chata.
Maca: No le pesquís, está puro webeando.

Vero: I'm sick of that dude.
Maca: Ignore him, he's just screwing around.
